Description
On Call: None
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Certification Requirements:
- Active Minnesota RN License
- BLS Certification
- NRP Certification
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of NICU nursing experience
- Experience caring for critically ill newborns and extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants
- Experience with JET and Oscillator high-frequency ventilators
- Experience with conventional ventilators, Bubble CPAP, RAM Cannula, and HFNC
- Pre- and post-operative care of critically ill newborns, including tracheostomy patients
- Strong knowledge of developmental care
- Must be willing to float between Children's Minneapolis, Children's St. Paul, and Allina Mercy NICUs as needed

They were really quick about getting me a contract.
Cons
Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
