Description
*** LD and Postpartum RN Nights and EOW – 36 or 48hrs.***
- Name: Labor & Delivery/Post Partum Unit.
Brief Unit Description: 25-Bed.
Labor & Delivery Unit which encompasses: L&D, PP, NBN, 2 OR’s, 2 RR’s.
And 2 ANU rooms.
Years of Experience Required: 3 years.
Minimum.
Skill Sets Required: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum,
Circulate, & Newborn Care.
Clinician to Patient Ratio: L&D.
1:2-3 Evals, 1:1 Active Labor, Magnesium gtt or EPIDURAL.
Bed Count: 5 LD Rooms, 12 PP, 2 OR’s, 2 RR, 2 ANU rooms with 4.
Beds.
- Census: Average Daily census 15-25 mothers, babies and labors.
- EMR (Charting System): EPIC.
Floating Required: No.
Required: Current Massachusetts RN License.
BLS, NRP & EFM (every.
2 years for L&D).
Additional Information: AHA ACLS.
(preferred).
