Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient / Ambulatory Care
Location: New York, NY
Contract Length: 9 Weeks
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Shift: Days – 5x7.5 Hours
Schedule: 37.5 Hours/Week | Monday–Friday
Job Summary
. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements
- Active New York RN License
- Minimum 2 years of recent hospital outpatient/ambulatory RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience (travel positions)
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
- Epic EMR experience highly preferred
- BSN preferred (Associate Degree accepted with relevant experience or active BSN enrollment)
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in an ambulatory setting
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
- Support patient throughput and coordinate continuity of care
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Provide charge nurse support as assigned
