Description

Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Med/Surg)

Position Overview

Join an expanding Med/Surg unit seeking experienced travel RNs with strong acute care backgrounds. This is a fast-paced unit with floating required within your scope of practice.

Shift

Primary: Day 3x12s – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Alternate: Day 4x12s – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Facility follows a 36/48-hour bi-weekly pay period schedule.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg experience
Active West Virginia RN License or Compact RN License
Required Certifications:
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NIHSS
Driver's License required with submission

Unit Details

Patient Ratio: Typically 1:5–1:6 (may vary based on census and staffing)
EMR: Meditech
Floating required within RN scope of practice

Scheduling

Every other weekend required
Blocked scheduling is not available
Orientation is bi-weekly
