Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned Telemetry patients utilizing the nursing process and established standards of care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities appropriately based on staff competency and scope of practice.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation utilizing EMR systems.
• Deliver care across various patient populations as required by department needs.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• Recent EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years (Required)
• Candidates must have successfully completed prior assignments or held employment utilizing these EMR systems
• Each work history entry must clearly indicate charting system used and applicable dates
• Previous acute care experience preferred
• BSN preferred
