Description
Role Summary
This assignment is for an experienced Pediatric OR RN providing perioperative nursing care for pediatric patients in a Level I Trauma hospital. The RN will circulate (scrubbing preferred) for a variety of complex pediatric surgical cases, with a strong emphasis on Orthopedics, Spine, and Neuro procedures.
Required Experience
✅ Previous Operating Room RN experience
✅ Pediatric OR experience (required)
✅ Level I Trauma hospital experience (required)
Required Certifications
✅ Active RN License (State or Compact)
✅ BLS
Schedule
- Monday–Friday (primarily)
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Weekend coverage as needed
- 6 on-call shifts every 8-week schedule period
Floating
- Primary assignment: No routine unit floating
- Facility may reassign within 35 miles and within the RN's clinical competency if necessary to meet guaranteed hours
