School Psychologist | Kansas City, KS | $55-$60+/Hour | 2026-2027 School Year
Job Details:
- Position: School Psychologist
- Location: Kansas City, KS
- Setting: Onsite
- School Year: August 17, 2026 – May 27, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Pay: $55-$60+ per hour, based on experience
- Openings: 6+ positions available
- Grade Levels: Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle School, and High School
- School Assignments: Multiple sites available, including Morse, ME Pearson, Caruthers, Silver City, Stony Point North, and Banneker
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments
- Interpret assessment results and prepare written reports
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports
- Assist with crisis intervention and problem-solving as needed
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Master's, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Eligible for or holding appropriate Kansas School Psychologist credentials
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
