Description
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Stepdown/PCU/Intermediate Care RN experience (required).
- Neuro Stepdown experience is strongly preferred. If neuro experience is limited, it must be clearly identified during screening.
- First-time travelers will not be considered.
- EPIC experience is required.
- Must be able to titrate Levophed (LEVO).
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications (required).
Schedule & Unit Requirements:
- Comfortable working a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- 24-bed Neuro Intermediate Care/Stepdown unit with a mixed neurological and medical intermediate patient population.
- 13–26 week contracts available.
- 36- or 48-hour schedules may be offered.
- Must demonstrate a strong teamwork approach and consistently meet behavioral expectations when interacting with patients and staff.
- Must adhere to the facility's strict call-off policy.
- No additional RTO is permitted after booking. Any additional call-offs or RTO requests may result in assignment cancellation and Do Not Return (DNR) status.
