First Connect Health is looking for a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse for an immediate opening at a premier Short-Term Acute Care facility in Newberg, Oregon. Whether you are a seasoned traveler or looking to jump into your very first travel assignment, this facility welcomes you!

💰 PRE-CALCULATED ESTIMATED PAY PACKAGE

Weekly Gross: $2,348.00
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,484.00
Hourly W2 Rate: $24.00/hr
Overtime Rate: $36.00/hr

📅 POSITION DETAILS

Shift: 3x12 Nights (12-Hour Night Shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per week (48-hour extensions not pre-approved)
Schedule: Every other weekend required; No block scheduling
On-Call: Yes, occasional low census on-call required
Floating: Yes, must be willing to float between related maternal-child units as needed
Expected Ratios: Highly manageable 1:1 for Labor; 3:1 for Postpartum

Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care / Level IV Trauma Center (60 Staff Beds)
Charting System: Epic (Experience preferred)
Scrub Color: Freedom of choice! Any color scrubs allowed.

📋 POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Minimum 1 year of dedicated Labor & Delivery experience.
Certifications Required: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Preferred Skills: Circulator experience preferred (Circulate for C-sections), Amnioinfusion, high-risk/vaginal delivery assistance, and couplet care.

🔰 1st-Time Travelers Welcome: This facility is exceptionally traveler-friendly and will accept clinicians on their very first travel assignment, provided you have at least 1 year of solid bedside L&D experience. 🏥 Facility Setup & Charting: This is a 60-bed, Level IV Trauma Center utilizing Epic charting. You will enjoy the flexibility of wearing any color scrubs you choose! 🚗 Parking Perks: On-site parking is 100% free for contractors—no daily fees or hidden parking deck costs. 🔄 Unit Flexibility: This role requires flexibility to float between maternal-child units (including Postpartum/Mother-Baby and Level I Nursery) depending on daily census. Expected ratios are highly manageable (1:1 for Labor, 3:1 for Postpartum). 📞 On-Call Expectations: Occasional low-census on-call is required for this night shift position. 📋 Must-Have Certs: Candidates must hold active BLS and NRP certifications to be submitted. Circulator experience is highly preferred!
