Physical Therapist (PT) – Per Diem / Part-Time
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team on a per diem/part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking for a flexible schedule while providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
The selected candidate will participate in an initial onboarding and training period consisting of scheduled sessions over several weeks before transitioning into an as-needed coverage role. Coverage will primarily support vacation and sick leave needs, with the potential for additional opportunities as staffing needs evolve.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide skilled physical therapy services in accordance with established standards of care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Deliver exceptional patient care while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Active New York Physical Therapist (PT) license.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible availability for weekday coverage.
- Willingness to provide occasional coverage at additional nearby locations when needed.
Schedule
- Part-time/per diem opportunity.
- Flexible weekday schedule.
- Day shifts ranging from approximately 6–7 hours.
- Initial training and onboarding required.
- Ongoing coverage provided on an as-needed basis.
