Description
Assignment Details
- Position: Travel Surgical Technologist – Operating Room
- Schedule:
- 2 shifts: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- 2 shifts: 10:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Monday through Friday
- Hours: 36 hours/week (expected to work up to 40 hours/week based on department needs)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgery.
- Ensure proper instrument counts and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to promote efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Current Surgical Technologist certification (if required by state or facility).
- Recent Operating Room experience in a high-volume surgical setting.
- Experience in Orthopedic, Neuro, Urology, General, and Thoracic procedures preferred.
- Previous experience with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery is highly preferred.
