• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
• Travel Pay Rate:
• $1,800 weekly ($18/hr w2 + $1,152/week stipend)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) care to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive nursing support to adult patients across various medical-surgical units, ensuring high-quality patient care through accurate assessments, medication administration, and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in acute care settings, demonstrate proficiency with electronic health record systems, and have experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with complex medical needs. Duties

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform care plans.
• Administer medications and injections accurately following physician orders while monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as IV insertions, catheterizations, and sterile dressing changes using aseptic techniques.
• Monitor patients’ conditions continuously, including ventilator management and acute pain management strategies.

Requirement:
NY State LPN/LVN license.
Minimum 2 years of LPN experience in Acute Care.
Current BLS AHA certifications.
