Description

Overview

Seeking an experienced Med Surg Orthopedic RN to provide high-quality care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, fractures, joint replacements, and other musculoskeletal conditions in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Care for post-operative orthopedic patients, including joint replacement and fracture cases
Administer medications, IV therapies, and pain management treatments
Monitor neurovascular status and mobility progress
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and rehabilitation
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

Active Compact RN License
Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg and/or Orthopedic experience
Experience caring for post-operative orthopedic patients preferred
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
