Description
🧪 Travel Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist
📍 Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks
🕒 Shift: 8-Hour Nights (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
📆 Schedule: Every other weekend required
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist experience
- Travel experience required
- Cerner experience required
- Certification required: ASCP, AMT, or AAB
- Only Medical Laboratory Technologists and Medical Laboratory Scientists will be considered. Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLTs) are not eligible.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with Sysmex and Cella Vision systems
- Experience working in a 600+ bed hospital laboratory
- Strong hematology skills, including performing manual differentials
- Experience handling complex specimens such as platelet clumps, turbid samples, and abnormal cell findings
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory
