- Position: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
- Location: Omaha, NE
- Shift: Nights 3x12-Hours
- Contract Duration: 12 Weeks
- Start Date: 15th, 22nd, 29th July
Pay Breakdown:
- Weekly Gross: $2,400
- W2: $27.4/hr.
- Stipend: $1,414 Weekly
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a collaborative respiratory care team in Omaha, Nebraska. This position provides respiratory care across all patient care areas, primarily serving adult patients with occasional pediatric cases in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of respiratory therapy experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Duties
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and assessments
Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs)
Occasionally perform EKGs
Assist with endotracheal intubations (independent intubation not required)
Operate and monitor a variety of respiratory equipment
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
NE State RCP license - Required
Minimum 1 year of recent RRT experience - Required
Current BLS AHA, ACLS, NBRC (RRT) certifications - Required
