Description
Job & Shift Details:
- Position: Nuclear Med Tech
- Care Setting: Acute
- Shift Length: 8 Hours
- Shift Notes: Days (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Years of Experience: 2 Years
- License to Submit: Yes (CA NMTL required)
- Required Certifications: BLS-AHA
Charting System: Cerner (PACS: Radnet & Merge Unity)
Additional Details / Unit Notes
- Department: 1 scanner/room (GE equipment).
- Floating: Required (approx. 6.5 miles away).
- Common Studies: Cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, gastric emptying.
- Average Daily Scans: 5–10.
- IV Starts: No.
- Radiologist: In-house.
- Lead/Supervisor: Lead Tech on site.
- Scrubs: Provided (Teal).
- Scheduling: 8-hour days; No block scheduling.
- Call Requirements:
- Weekdays: Rotating call after 4:30 PM.
- Weekends: Rotating.
- Holidays: Rotating on-call.
