Contract Details

Location: Petoskey, MI (McLaren Northern Michigan)
Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12s Nights
On-Call: No call required
Weekends: Every other weekend required
Radius Rule: Local candidates are not accepted. Must be a true traveler.

Unit & Facility Overview

Unit: Level 2 North (28-bed Medical-Surgical Unit)
Patient Population: Highly diverse, fast-paced environment. Cares for general, vascular, bariatric, and plastic surgeries, as well as trauma and stroke patients.
Culture: Patient-centered, progressive, and supportive team environment backed by an active Unit-Based Shared Governance council.
Hospital Scale: ~200-bed regional acute care facility and a designated Level II Trauma Center.

Submission Requirements

Experience (Strict): Minimum 2+ years of straight Med-Surg experience only. Experience must be standalone Med-Surg; candidates with primarily float pool, stepdown (SDU), or Telemetry backgrounds will not be accepted.
Trauma Experience: Must have documented experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma center.
