Description

Position Summary-: 

The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting clinical staff to maintain safe and effective care delivery. This role provides leadership, clinical guidance, and coordination between nursing teams, providers, and interdisciplinary departments while ensuring compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and best practices. 

 

Job Duties-: 

  • Supervise, support, and coordinate daily nursing activities to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
  • Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff while promoting a positive work environment.
  • Monitor patient care plans, assess clinical needs, and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented.
  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and management to support optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assist with staffing coordination, assignments, scheduling needs, and unit workflow management.
  • Perform patient assessments and support staff with complex clinical situations and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and performance improvement activities.
  • Address patient/family concerns professionally and promote excellent patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to nursing policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Position Details-: 

  • Day shifts
  • 36 hours per week | 12 hours per day
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday coverage
  • Overseeing the entire hospital & all units. 

Requirements-: 

  • Must have 2 years of experience as RN in Supervisor or Senior Leadership role
  • Must have 5 years of nursing experience in acute care facilities  
  • BLS and ACLS
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
  • EPIC Charting system experience
  • Active Massachusetts RN License
