Inpatient Med/Surg RN - Bethel, AK
Term/Duration: 13 weeks
Scheduled hours: 36 hrs
Shift: days and night

Job Description:

We are seeking a cskilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, post-surgical, and behavioral health patients.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments, documenting findings accurately.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
Monitor patient conditions, interpret diagnostic results, and respond appropriately to changes in patient status.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Provide compassionate care to pediatric, adult, post-surgical, and behavioral health patients.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current Alaska RN license in good standing.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum 2 years of experience required.
Must have experience with pediatrics and adults.
