Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown)

Location: Atlanta, GA
Shift: Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts)
Contract Length: 12 Weeks
Hours: 36 or 48 Hours/Week Available

We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care (PCU/Stepdown) Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity Medical Stepdown Unit in Atlanta, GA. Both local and travel RNs are welcome to apply.

Must Have Requirements

Active RN license
3+ years of recent PCU/Stepdown experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required

Medical Stepdown Unit
16–20 bed unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4

Patient Population

Sepsis
Heart Failure
Hypertensive Emergency
Respiratory Failure
COPD
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM)
Substance Abuse
Status Epilepticus
Encephalopathy
