Description

Med Surg/Tele RN - Corvallis, OR
Term/Duration: 13 weeks
Scheduled hours: 36 hrs
Shift: 12 hr nights (19:00-07:30), rotating weekends

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med Surg RN) to provide exceptional care for acutely ill adult patients and those undergoing both elective and emergency surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for medical-surgical patients.
Monitor patients, including those requiring stable telemetry monitoring.
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to physician orders.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.

Requirements:

Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license.
Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
Epic EMR experience required.
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
Telemetry monitoring experience required.
Orthopedic and bariatric nursing experience preferred.
