Description
Schedule & Unit Details
- 36-hour weekly guarantee (3 x 11-hour shifts)
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule
- Monthly mandatory staff meeting (approximately 2 hours on a Tuesday)
- 15-station outpatient dialysis unit (2.5 shifts daily)
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: Approximately 2–3 RNs caring for 15 patients
- Patient Care Technician (PCT) support: 2–3 PCTs for 7–10 patients
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of dialysis nursing experience
- Current BLS and CPR certification
- Strong assessment, medication administration, and patient education skills
- Experience with dialysis equipment and EMR documentation preferred
Additional Information
- No routine weekends unless a holiday falls on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday
- No standard holiday requirement except when scheduled on a treatment day
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required; vaccination status must be disclosed
- Required scrub color: Navy Blue
