Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist – Travel Assignment – Utica, NY

Start Date: July 20

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Gross Pay: $3,766/week

Schedule: Four 10‑hour shifts, Monday–Friday (daily shift times follow department scheduling)

Call: Required

Distance Requirement: Permanent address must be 75+ miles from the facility or rate will adjust

Overview

A reputable hospital in Utica, NY is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment beginning July 20. This role is ideal for a seasoned IR Tech who is confident in a procedural environment, comfortable with call, and ready to support a busy IR department.

Requirements

ARRT – Required
New York License – Required
BLS – Required
Minimum 2 years of IR experience
Must meet 75‑mile permanent address requirement

Responsibilities

Assist physicians during IR procedures including vascular interventions, biopsies, drain placements, and image‑guided treatments
Operate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and IR imaging equipment
Maintain sterile technique and support procedural flow
Monitor patient status and document procedural details accurately
Participate in required on‑call rotation to support emergent cases
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and anesthesia teams to ensure safe, efficient care
