Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Local Pay Rate: $50/Hr on w2

Travel Pay Rate: $2200 weekly ($26.5/Hr W2 + $1246 weekly stipend)

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week night shift assignment at a 60-bed Level IV Trauma Center in Newberg, Oregon. The RN will provide comprehensive care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients, monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Candidates must have prior travel experience and hands-on Epic charting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients.
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and oxygen therapy.
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs, PICC lines, and central lines.
• Perform phlebotomy and manage feeding tubes.
• Follow IV insulin protocols and isolation/PPE guidelines.
• Participate in rapid response and code situations.
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing.
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic EMR.
• Participate in standby call and work every other weekend.

Requirements:

• Active Oregon state RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Epic charting experience required (Hard Stop).
• Experience in Medical-Surgical and Cardiac Telemetry units.
• Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias.
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, central/PICC/peripheral line management, and telemetry monitoring.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS preferred.
• Ability to float between units as needed.
• Must be available for night shifts, every other weekend, and standby call.
