Description

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum

Location: Middleburg Heights, OH
Unit: Labor & Delivery / Postpartum (OB)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 07/20/2026

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and obstetric patients.
Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial patient assessments.
Develop, implement, evaluate, and modify individualized patient care plans.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
Provide postpartum assessments and newborn care.
Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, newborn care, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation.

Schedule & Shift Details:

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
12-Hour Shifts
3 Shifts per Week (36 Hours)
Every 3rd Weekend

Requirements:

Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) License
Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, and/or Postpartum nursing experience
BLS Certification – Required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
STABLE Certification – Required
