Contract Details

• Location: Charlevoix, MI
• Shift: (1) Day shift opening & (1) Night shift openings
• Weekends: Two weekend shifts required every two-week period (Saturday or Sunday)
• On-Call: 1 to 2 on-call shifts required every 4 weeks
• OT Rate: $105 per hour (after 40)
• Holidays: None required
• Scrubs: OR scrubs are provided and laundered by the facility

Facility & Unit Overview

• Environment: Critical access hospital setting requiring a highly competent, independent, and adaptable RN.
• Patient Population: Care spans the full perinatal spectrum, including low-risk pregnancies, L&D, OB triage, and postpartum care.
• Nursery: Level 1 Nursery caring for well-born neonates (35 weeks and older).
• High-Acuity & Transfers: You must be comfortable quickly stabilizing preterm/high-risk laboring patients and sick newborns for transfer to higher-level care facilities. You will be supported by an interdisciplinary team (Pediatrics on-call, House Supervisor, Respiratory Therapy) during these events.

Requirements & Experience

• Experience: Must have strong, relevant clinical experience in Labor & Delivery, obstetric triage, and emergent C-sections.
• License: Active Michigan (MI) RN license required.
• Core Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. are all strictly required.
• Fetal Monitoring: Must hold at least one of the following: Intermediate AWHONN, NCC C-EFM, or Inteleos C-FMC.
