<h3>Contract Details</h3><ul><li><strong>Location:</strong> Chico, CA</li><li><strong>Role:</strong> Operates in an expanded perioperative role functioning as a first assistant to the surgeon.</li><li><strong>Floating Requirements:</strong> You will practice under the supervision of the surgeon in both the main Operating Room and the Labor &amp; Delivery Suite. <i>(Note: General facility policy requires Med/Surg and Critical Care RNs to float as needed).</i></li></ul><h3>Facility &amp; Unit Overview</h3><ul><li><strong>Hospital Scale:</strong> A ~298-bed non-profit acute care hospital.</li><li><strong>Trauma Designation:</strong> Verified <strong>Level II Trauma Center</strong> (one of the only Level II centers north of Sacramento) and acts as a major regional medical hub.</li></ul><h3>Requirements &amp; Experience</h3><ul><li><strong>License:</strong> Active California (CA) RN license required.</li><li><strong>RNFA Training:</strong> Must have the acquired knowledge, skills, and judgment necessary to assist the surgeon through organized instruction and supervised practice.</li><li><strong>Required Certifications:</strong><ul><li>CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room)</li><li>Current CPR / Basic Life Support</li><li>Current ACLS</li></ul></li></ul><h3>🚨 CRITICAL Facility Requirements &amp; Timelines</h3><ul><li><strong>Credentialing Timeline:</strong> This position requires the candidate to be credentialed directly through the Enloe Medical Staff office. <strong>Can take up to 6 to 8-weeks of processing time</strong> before you can start.</li></ul>
