PREMIUM CVOR TECHNOLOGIST CONTRACT – 5x8 DAYS – STABLE SCHEDULE
We are seeking a highly experienced Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech for an immediate 13-week travel assignment. Operating within a massive, high-acuity 22-room surgical environment, this position is tailored for elite tech professionals fully capable of scrubbing complex open-heart cases completely independently. Enjoy predictable day shifts and an exceptional tax-free stipend structure.
Please note: This facility requires previous travel experience. First-time travel candidates will not be considered.
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours (06:45 AM - 03:00 PM), Monday through Friday. No block scheduling.
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours guaranteed weekly.
- On-Call Requirements: Mandatory call coverage is required, spanning nights, weekends, and holiday rotations.
- EMR System: Epic preferred.
- Clinical Environment: 22-room advanced surgical suite across a premier Teaching and Trauma facility.
- Surgical Scope & Procedures: Extensive cross-coverage across high-acuity Vascular (AAA repairs, carotid endarterectomy, TEVAR), Thoracic (resections, VATS), and Cardiovascular tracks (CABG, EVAR, TAVR, mitral valve replacements, and open-heart procedures).
REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Hardstop Experience Rules: Minimum 2 years of consecutive clinical experience strictly in Cardiovascular surgery. Must have documented, hands-on CV case experience within the last 3 months and the verified ability to scrub heart valve or open-heart procedures independently.
- Travel Mandate: Previous travel contract experience is strictly required.
- Trauma Background: Required to have a verified background working in an acute Trauma Level II (or higher) setting. Teaching hospital familiarity is preferred.
- Certifications Required: Verifiable CST (via NBSTSA) or NCCT certification accepted. Active AHA BLS.
