Position Details

• Position: Pediatric Cath Lab RN
• Shift: 10-hour Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Schedule and Requirements

• 10-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call required:
  • 7 call shifts per 2-week pay period
  • Weekday call: End of shift to 7:00 AM
  • Weekend call: End of shift Friday to 7:00 AM Monday
  • 1–2 weekends of call per month (approximately every 3rd weekend)
  • 45-minute response time
• Holiday call participation required as part of department rotation.
• No floating required.
• First-time travelers not accepted.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
• Pediatric Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Experience with:
  • Pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Left and Right Heart Catheterization (LHC/RHC)
  • PDA, VSD, and ASD closures
  • Septostomy
  • Congenital stenting and balloon angioplasty
  • Collateral vessel closure
  • Pediatric Electrophysiology procedures
  • Pacemaker implantation and generator changes
  • Loop recorder implantation/removal
  • EP studies with radiofrequency ablation (SVT, WPW, Atrial Tachycardia, PVCs)
• Experience as a circulator and with patient monitoring required.
• Experience with EPIC Cupid, Picom PACS, Merge Hemodynamics, and Siemens Artis C-arm preferred.

Required Certifications

• Washington State RN License (or Compact License)
• BLS
• PALS
• NIHSS

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor patients during pediatric cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Assist with congenital heart interventions and pediatric EP cases.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures while anesthesia provides sedation.
• Participate in STEMI/call coverage as assigned.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary Cath Lab team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
