• Position: GI/Endoscopy Technician
• Shift: Day Shift (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday (5×8 Hours)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks (91 Days)

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of GI Technician experience
• Acute care experience preferred

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• CRCST (HSPA)

Required Skills

• Assist with patient positioning during procedures
• Specimen collection
• Bedside pre-cleaning of endoscopes
• Scope setup and breakdown
• Restocking procedure rooms

Common Procedures

• EGD (Upper Endoscopy)
• Colonoscopy
• Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
• Esophageal Motility Studies (preferred experience, not required)

Facility Information

• 4 Procedure Suites
• 1 Gastric Lab
• 1 High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) Room
• Charting System: Cerner

Schedule & Floating

• Monday–Friday
• No weekends
• No on-call
• No holiday requirements
• Rare floating to Federal Way, Bellevue, or Lynnwood

Orientation

• Orientation with an experienced GI Technician until competency is demonstrated

Additional Information

• Procedural scrubs provided
• Charge Nurse available daily
• Ambulatory environment
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract
• Self-scheduling available for permanent staff; traveler schedule confirmed approximately 6 weeks in advance
