PAY:
Local Pay - $75/hr on W2
Travelers Pay:
Taxable - $49/hr on W2
Lodging Stipend - $800 weekly
Meals Stipend - $586 weekly
Weekly Gross - $3,346 weekly including stipend for 40 hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - Vascular Ultrasound Tech
Location - 250 Pleasant Street, Concord, New Hampshire, 03301
Duration - 13 weeks contract
Day Shif - 7am to 5:30pm with Wednesdays off with rotating call approximately every 4th or 5th weekend from 8am -2pm.
Weekly hours - 40 hours
EMR - Cerner- experience preferred not required
Patient Age Groups: Mostly Adults. Very Rare Ped
Traveler may be requested to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia, 80 Highland Street, Laconia, NH, 03246 or Concord Hospital-Franklin,15 Aiken Ave, Franklin, NH 03235
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations of arterial and venous systems, including upper and lower extremity, carotid, abdominal, and venous duplex studies.
Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images and Doppler waveforms.
Assess blood flow, detect vascular abnormalities, and document preliminary findings for physician interpretation.
Prepare, position, and educate patients throughout the examination while ensuring comfort and safety.
Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and exam reports in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to support timely diagnosis and treatment planning.
Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and quality control of ultrasound equipment.
Adhere to infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and departmental policies.
REQUIREMENT:
MUST have NH License in hand
2+ years of dedicated Vascular experience.
BLS, Registered Vascular Sonographer by CCI or Registered Vascular Tech by ARDMS.
