Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Concord, MA
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays | No Call
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Concord, MA.

Must Have Requirements

Active RRT credential
Minimum 3 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience
Travel experience required
NRP certification required at the time of submission
Massachusetts RT License may be pending at the time of submission
Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Position Highlights

No on-call requirements
Every other weekend required
Rotating holidays

Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care for inpatient and outpatient populations of all ages
Assess, treat, and reassess patients per physician orders
Participate in Code Blue and Rapid Response Teams
Assist physicians and nursing staff with respiratory therapies
Educate patients and families
Assist with orientation and training of staff
Transport patients as needed
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental education
Assist with equipment management and inventory control
