- Travelers provide full Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum care

- 7 LDRP Rooms
- 2 OB Emergency Department Beds
- 4β8 Overflow Postpartum Beds
- 1 Dedicated C-Section OR
- 2-Bed Newborn Stabilization NICU
- Approximately 70β80 deliveries per month
- 60β70 Non-Stress Tests (NSTs) monthly

- Labor: 1:2
- Delivery: 1:1
- Mother/Baby Couplet Care: 1:4
Note: Facility does not strictly follow AWHONN staffing ratios.
β Required Experience
This is a true LDRP assignment requiring nurses to independently care for patients throughout the entire birth process.
Experience required with:
- Labor & Delivery
- Recovery
- Postpartum
- Couplet Care
- OB Emergency Department
- Antepartum NST Testing
- Vaginal Deliveries
- Circulating Cesarean Sections
- NRP at Delivery ("Baby Catcher")
- High-Risk Obstetrics
- Fetal Monitoring
- Pitocin titration
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of LDRP experience
- 3+ years preferred
Will Accept
- L&D nurses with OR circulating experience
Will NOT Accept
- Postpartum-only experience
Common Patient Population
- Pregnancies 35 weeks and above
- Singleton deliveries
- Twin deliveries
- Labor inductions
- Cesarean deliveries
- High-risk obstetrics
- Antepartum NST testing
Patients under 35 weeks gestation are transferred to a higher level of care.

- OB Hospitalist onsite 24/7
- Perinatal Specialist available
- Respiratory Therapy attends every delivery
- One OB Tech scheduled every shift
Anesthesia
- Not in-house 24/7
- 20-minute callback when no epidural patients are present
- Remains in-house whenever epidural patients are admitted
