Position Details

• Position: Interventional Radiology Technician
• Shift: Day Shift – 4 x 10-hour shifts (07:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Schedule & Requirements

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekend requirements discussed with hiring manager
• On-call required
• Floating required within scope of practice
• May float to Martin North, Martin South, and Tradition Hospitals (within 20 miles)
• Block scheduling not available
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• All RTO must be submitted with the initial application

Required Experience

• Minimum 18 months of Interventional Radiology experience
• 2 years preferred
• Cath Lab and/or EP Lab experience preferred due to floating requirements
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Certifications

• ARRT Certification (Required)
• Florida State License (Required)
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• RCIS preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
• Assist with angiography and endovascular interventions
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment
• Scrub and maintain sterile field during procedures
• Circulate during IR procedures
• Operate vascular closure devices (Perclose, StarClose)
• Assist with biopsies, embolizations, angioplasties, stent placements, nephrostomy, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and other IR procedures
• Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Float to Cath Lab/EP as needed
