Position Details

• Position: Interventional Cath Lab Technologist
• Shift: 4 x 10-hour Day Shifts (Start times between 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM)
• Schedule: Rotating night and weekend call required

Schedule and Requirements

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week.
• Start times vary from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
• Rotating night and weekend call required.
• Orientation: 40 hours.
• Travel experience required.
• Structural heart experience preferred.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Cath Lab experience.
• Previous travel experience required.
• Experience with:
  • Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath procedures
  • PCI/PTCA
  • Left & Right Heart Catheterization
  • Cardiac Stent Placement
  • IABP & Impella insertion
  • Temporary Pacemaker
  • TAVR
  • Watchman
  • OCT
  • Rotablator Atherectomy
  • Ventricular Assist Device insertion
  • ECMO
  • Room circulating and maintaining sterile field

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• RCIS, RCES, CRT, or ARRT (accepted credential)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment.
• Scrub and circulate during Cath Lab procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Perform EKG lead placement and access site preparation.
• Operate fluoroscopy and specialized Cath Lab equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the Cath Lab team.
• Mentor and assist in training students when needed.
