Surgical Services Specialty RN (Pain Management/Clinic) – Pagosa Springs, CO

Location: Pagosa Springs, CO
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week
Shift: 8-Hour Shifts (Rotating Start Times)

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Services Specialty RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This position supports Pain Management and Surgical Services in a Critical Access Hospital outpatient setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients receiving pain management and surgical services
• Prepare, monitor, and recover patients undergoing procedures
• Assist physicians during pain management and specialty procedures
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, treatments, and post-procedure care
• Accurately document patient care using the Cerner electronic health record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Active RN License
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Minimum 5 years of outpatient and/or hospital nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Cerner documentation experience required
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic health record proficiency
• Experience in Pain Management, Surgical Services, Specialty Clinic, or Procedural Nursing strongly preferred
