• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 guaranteed hours per week

• Location: Pagosa Springs, CO (Near Santa Fe, NM)
• EHR System: Cerner

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience.
• Travel Experience: Previous traveler experience is required.
• Licensure: Current Colorado RN license in good standing (or ability to obtain).
• Certifications: * AHA BLS (Required)
  • ACLS (Required or completion within 3 months)
  • PALS (Required or completion within 3 months)
• Technical Skills: Cerner EHR/EMR experience and basic computer skills required.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.

Essential Responsibilities & Environment

• Patient Care: Comprehensive assessments, IV therapy, oxygen therapy, blood products, and medication administration.
• Cardiac Knowledge: Must demonstrate knowledge of cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
• Documentation: Accurate charting using Care Compass in Cerner.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Expected to use SBAR for transfers, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and serve as a mentor to other nursing staff.
• Physical Demands: Heavy work environment requiring lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking. Potential exposure to communicable diseases, chemicals, and physical strain.
