Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother Baby / Labor & Delivery
Target Start Date: 07-01-2026
Shift: Night Shift (Full Time - 0.9 FTE)

Location & Facility

Facility: Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center
Location: 915 Highland Boulevard, Bozeman, MT 59715

Core Clinical & Floating Requirements

Delivery Skills: Must be able to catch/transition nurse.
Leadership: Must be capable of acting as Charge Nurse.
Floating Expectations: Must be willing to float to other departments to act as a safety companion.
Preferred Experience: Labor & Delivery experience, including antepartum, intrapartum, preop, circulate, and PACU.
Nursing Model: Competence in, and a willingness to practice, modified primary nursing.

Required Qualifications

Licensure: Current Montana (MT) RN License.
Certifications: * AHA BLS
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - recertification required every 2 years
- STABLE certification (must have within two years of hire)
Stroke Competency: Must comply with hyperacute/acute stroke protocols, requiring two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease education within one year of hire and one hour annually thereafter.

Essential Responsibilities & Environment

Patient Care: Comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, care planning, and evaluation in collaboration with patients, families, and peers.
