Job Overview

• Position Type: Contract (Travel)

• Shift: Nights (19:00 - 07:30)
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Weekend & Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday required.

Location & Facility

• Facility: Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH) - Cedar Crest
• Location: Allentown, PA
• Traveler Radius Rule: 50 miles (Local rate differential applies if closer).
• EHR System: EPIC

Unit Details & Requirements

• Patient Population: Adult
• Patient Ratio: Ranges from 1:1 – 3:1
• Facility Type: Must have experience in a Teaching Hospital and Trauma Level I Facility.
• Floating Requirements: Floating is required. (Critical Care Float Pool experience is preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) or Compact State RN License required in hand at time of submission.

Strict Submission & Compliance Rules (#Tier4)

• Required at Submission: * SSN and DOB.
  • Valid references and copies of certifications.
  • Requested Time Off (RTO). Note: RTO submitted after submission will not be accepted. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated.
  • Interview Availability (Please provide a 3-5 day range; candidates with provided times are prioritized).
• Clearance Exam: A Pass/Fail clinical exam is required for clearance. Candidates have a maximum of 3 attempts to pass (a 3rd failure results in automatic cancellation with no remediation approved).
• Background & Fingerprints: PA Fingerprints and PA Childline are REQUIRED. If the traveler does not have results from within the last 12 months, they must complete them at the earliest offered date, as processing takes up to 2 weeks (results cannot pend). This may require traveling over 100 miles.
• Lab Work: Travelers MUST complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
• Auto-Offers: Managers have 48 hours to review, interview, and confirm a traveler for an Auto Offer. If your candidate is seeking multiple offers, please alert the Account Manager of their top choice.
• Orientation: Modules are completed during orientation. The first 8 hours spent on modules are non-billable; any time spent on modules after the first 8 hours is billable.
