Labor and Delivery RN | Charleston, WV | Nights
*Candidates must reside 75+ miles from facility; no local candidates accepted
36, 40, and 48 hr options available
Unit Description: Low-risk and high-risk obstetrics. 14 L&D beds, 6 triage beds, 2 operating rooms, 2 recovery beds, 2 high-risk antepartum. L&D is a regional tertiary care unit supporting local obstetric needs and serving as a receiving port from outlying hospitals. Nurses team with midwives and physicians to maximize the childbirth experience for women seeking minimal intervention, as well as those with major complications
Requirements:
- 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience; circulating experience in the OR setting, FHM. IV Start. Triage and Scrub skills a plus
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- WV or Compact RN license
May be required to float to Mother and Baby as needed
