LDRP / Obstetrics / Postpartum RN – Grants, NM

Location: Grants, NM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Nights
Schedule: May include weekends and holidays

We are seeking an experienced LDRP / Obstetrics Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Grants, New Mexico.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Newborn patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Deliver patient and family education to support positive outcomes
• Supervise LPNs, nursing assistants, and ancillary staff
• Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Float to other departments as needed with appropriate orientation

Requirements:

• Current New Mexico RN License or active Multi-State Compact (eNLC) License
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications
• Skilled in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Newborn care
• Knowledge of sterile technique and sterile field maintenance
• OPS Emergency Workshop and STABLE certification required within 12 months
• SAFER NM Technician certification preferred
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
