Description
ER RN – (Warrenton, VA)
Position Details
- Department: Emergency Room (Cost Center 780)
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Call Requirement: None
- Float Requirement: Rare; only to appropriate units within skill set or as helping hands
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience
Required Skills
Must be able to independently perform:
- IV insertion
- Phlebotomy
- 12-lead EKGs
- Splinting
- Wound care
- Patient transport
- General emergency nursing procedures
- Care for patients across all age groups
Preferred Qualifications
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Patient-centered approach
- Experience meeting operational and patient satisfaction goals
