Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Operating Room Technician / Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient hospital experience to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons and the operating room team by preparing the surgical environment, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring the availability of instruments and supplies. Candidates must be certified and committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and readily available before procedures.
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Perform surgical counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps before, during, and after procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Clean, sterilize, and restock surgical instruments and operating rooms following established infection control protocols.
• Monitor and anticipate the needs of the surgical team while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and sterile techniques.
