🔥 PREMIER L&D / LDRP CONTRACT – LOCAL CANDIDATES APPROVED – COVETED DAY SHIFTS
First Connect Health is seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 13-week contract in Edmonds, Washington. This facility operates on a full LDRP model, providing a comprehensive spectrum of maternal-child care. 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $2,070.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,350.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $20.00/hr
- Overtime Rate: $30.00/hr (Billable after 40 hours)
- Based on 36 Regular Hours weekly (3x12 Shifts). Overtime multiplier activates after 40 total hours in 1 week.
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 3x12-Hours (07:00 AM - 19:30 PM). No block scheduling available.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours guaranteed weekly.
- EMR System: Epic charting required.
- Highly Supportive Staffing Ratios: 1:1 to 1:3 depending on patient acuity and unit status.
- Facility Volume: High-performing environment averaging 200–300 births per month.
- Clinical Scope & Diagnoses: Comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum (High Risk/Low Risk), Couplet Care, and Normal Newborn nursery settings.
- Special Procedures: Managing vaginal and cesarean deliveries, circulating in the OR for C-sections, C-section recovery, adult IV starts, blood/blood product administration, epidural/PCA pump management, and high-risk medication administration (Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin titration).
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years (24 months) of dedicated clinical experience across all core dimensions of LDRP care (L&D, Postpartum, and Newborn care). Strong candidates with slightly under 2 years may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Licensure: Active Washington State License must be in hand at the time of file submission (Swedish/Providence facilities honor active compact licenses).
- Certifications Required: AWHONN Intermediate, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP, and BLS are strictly required for submittal. ACLS is highly preferred.
- Float Requirement: Clinicians must be fully willing to float as needed to related units to support patient care needs.
