Description

CVOR RN – Texas | Full-Time Opportunity

Position Overview

Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Bill Rate: $80/hr
Schedule: No weekends listed
RTO: Must be disclosed before offer

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience
Epic charting experience required
Experience with open-heart/cardiovascular surgical cases
Must be willing and able to support General OR cases when CVOR volume is low

Required Certifications

BLS (AHA only)
Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License

Education

BSN preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

Independently provide perioperative nursing care
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Administer medications and treatments
Monitor patient response and document care in Epic
Educate patients and families
Delegate appropriately and collaborate with the surgical team

Ideal Candidate

2+ years of recent CVOR/Open Heart OR experience
Comfortable with:
- CABG
- Valve repair/replacement
- Other cardiovascular surgical procedures
Epic proficient
Flexible to float into General OR when needed
Strong independent clinical judgment and teamwork skills

We have both 40 hrs and 36 hrs option for this role: 40 hrs weekly pay=Pay Package:$2,185.20/week 36 hrs weekly pay=Pay Package: $$1,979/Week
