🔥 PREMIER NIGHT-SHIFT MS/TELE RN CONTRACT – SHORT-TERM ACUTE CARE

First Connect Health is seeking a qualified Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 13-week travel assignment in Newberg, Oregon. Operating within a highly efficient 28-bed care unit, this role manages a diverse mix of adult and geriatric telemetry patients. 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

Weekly Gross: $1,945.00
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,225.00
Hourly W2 Rate: $20.00/hr
Overtime Rate: $30.00/hr (Billable after 40 hours)

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-Hours (19:00 - 07:00). No block scheduling available. 48-hour work weeks are not approved for this need.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly.
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend coverage rotation is mandatory.
On-Call Requirements: Standby call coverage is required based on unit needs.
Patient Ratios: Highly competitive and safe staffing ratios averaging 1:4 to 1:5 depending on shift census and unit acuity.
Unit Layout & Pacing: 28-bed care setting with an average daily census of 28 patients.
Core Role Duties: Independent competency in cardiac telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, IV therapy, blood product administration, central line/PICC care, IV insulin protocols, and feeding tube care.
Unit Floating: Yes, traveling nurses will float between units flexibly based on immediate facility needs.
Dress Code: Freedom of choice! Any color solid scrubs are permitted.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience: Minimum 1 year (12 months) of acute care hospital experience. Must be fully cross-trained in both telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical nursing.
Travel Mandate: Prior travel contract experience is highly preferred. First-time travel candidates are discouraged by the facility and must be explicitly called out on submission notes if presented.
EMR Requirement: Hands-on experience with Epic charting is a strict compliance HARD-STOP. Non-Epic profiles will be automatically auto-rejected without review.
Licensure: Active Oregon State Nursing License must be verified and in hand at the time of submission.
Certifications Required: Active AHA BLS and ACLS are required at submittal.
