🔥 PREMIUM RESPIRATORY THERAPIST CONTRACT – ADULT CRITICAL CARE & ER – NIGHTS

First Connect Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an immediate 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Operating in a high-capacity 315-bed acute care environment, this night-shift contract spans both Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department care tracks. 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

Weekly Gross: $2,204.00
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,484.00
Hourly W2 Rate: $20.00/hr
Overtime Rate: $30.00/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-Hours (19:00 - 07:00). No block scheduling available.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly.
On-Call Requirements: Rotational call coverage required, ideally on nights—averaging 1 shift every other week.
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend rotation is mandatory, requiring a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 13-week contract.
Patient Ratio Experience: Must be comfortable managing standard large-facility workloads up to a 1:20 patient ratio tracking.
Patient Population & Diagnoses: Multi-acuity tracking spanning Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics presenting with CHF, COPD, Pneumonia, Respiratory Failure, and acute respiratory infections.
Special Procedures: Routine execution of ABG sampling, complex ventilator management, rapid patient respiratory assessments, and comprehensive pulmonary hygiene.
Special Equipment Utilized: Hamilton Vents, Servo-U Vents, NKV330 (Non-Invasive Ventilation devices), Airvo 2 systems, Dream Machines, and V30's.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience: Minimum 1 year (12 months) of acute care clinical experience. Independent competency inside Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department environments is strictly required. Previous teaching or trauma facility experience is preferred!
Licensure: Active New York State Respiratory Therapist License must be verified and in hand at the time of submission.
Certifications Required: National Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, active AHA BLS, and ACLS are required at submittal.
Geographic Restraint: Travel candidates only. No local candidates within 50 miles of the Rochester facility will be considered.
Dress Code: Any solid shade of Gray or a Gray/Black scrub combination is required.
