🔥 PREMIUM MED SURG / ONCOLOGY RN CONTRACT – GUARANTEED BLOCK SCHEDULING – NIGHTS

First Connect Health is seeking an experienced, adaptable Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 13-week travel assignment on the 7 North Oncology Floor in Thomasville, Georgia. This position provides highly predictable night-shift scheduling and an exceptional weekly take-home income. If you are an acute care clinician comfortable with higher pacing and looking to secure a lucrative southern contract with option for extensions, this is the perfect opportunity!

Please note: Block scheduling is fully considered by the unit manager for traveling nurses.

💰 PRE-CALCULATED 48-HOUR PAY PACKAGE

• Weekly Gross: $2,286.00
• Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246.00
• Hourly W2 Rate: $20.00/hr
• Overtime Rate: $30.00/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

• Schedule: Night shifts, 4x12-Hours (19:00 - 07:00).
• Block Scheduling: Yes! Block scheduling options are heavily considered.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36–40 baseline guaranteed packages.
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (EOW) coverage is mandatory.
• EMR Systems: Cerner and Soarian charting platforms.
• Patient Ratios: Paced at 1:6 to 1:7 ratios. Prior experience managing higher acute care ratios is strictly required.
• Patient Age Groups: Full-spectrum adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric oncology/medical surgical overflow patient demographics.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of recent clinical Med Surg experience in a hospital environment. Prior hands-on Oncology experience is highly preferred. Previous travel contract experience and teaching hospital backgrounds are also highly favored!
• Licensure: Active Georgia State Nursing License or Compact Nursing License must be verified and in hand at the time of submission.
• Certifications Required: Active AHA BLS certification.
• Core Competencies: Confirmed proficiency with telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythm identification, and independent IV insertion/starts.
• Dress Code: Solid Royal Blue scrubs are required (clinicians must provide their own).
