PREMIUM EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT RN CONTRACT – 3x12 NIGHTS – STABLE SCHEDULE
We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 13-week travel assignment. Operating within a high-acuity 29-bed Emergency Department, this position is tailored for elite ER professionals fully capable of managing complex trauma and critical care presentations completely independently. Please note: This facility moves fast on strong profiles. Candidates must have an active Kansas nursing license (or compact equivalent) in hand upon submission to maintain immediate processing priority.
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-Hours (19:00 PM - 07:00 AM). No block scheduling.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours guaranteed weekly.
- On-Call Requirements: No On-Call expected for this contract, providing stable and predictable work-life balance.
- Clinical Environment: Dynamic, 29-bed clinical environment operating within a verified Level IV Trauma Center at Providence Medical Center (PMC).
- Surgical Scope & Procedures: Comprehensive emergency nursing care encompassing triage, acute stabilization, cardiac protocols, stroke protocols, respiratory emergencies, and advanced trauma tracking.
📋 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Hardstop Experience Rules: Minimum 1–2 years of recent, consecutive clinical experience strictly in a fast-paced acute care Emergency Department. Must possess verified proficiency with rapid triage assessment, cardiac monitoring, and emergency IV access.
- Trauma Background: Required to have a verified background or comfort working within a designated trauma facility setting.
- Certifications Required: Verifiable Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure for the state of Kansas (or compact equivalent).
