Overview

Seeking an experienced MICU RN to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced critical care environment. This role offers exposure to multiple ICU specialties, including MICU, SICU, Respiratory Special Care, and Surgical Progressive Care, with assignments based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced critical care interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Float to ICU specialty units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Active New York RN License (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care ICU experience
• Experience in Medical ICU (MICU) required
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
